Are biometrics mandatory? All my vaccinations were up to date at the time of the interview, which was in March so less than a year ago... am I still going to get a biometrics appointment? Is it mandatory for me to show up? How can I find out where the surgeon general are to see if I'll have to travel a lot?
Thank you.

Yes Biometrics appointment is mandatory. It has nothing to do with your vaccinations.

It is to take your fingerprints for FBI background checks.

Your AOS could be denied for failure to show up for biometrics appointment.

Done with K1, AOS and ROC

Oh, that's what I read but I was trying to make sure...

Is there any way to find a list of places where the biometrics take place?

Is this for interviews only or for the medical too? http://www.uscis.gov/about-us/find-uscis-office/field-offices

Because I also found this link: https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=offices.type&OfficeLocator.office_type=CIV

Biometrics is not a medical. That was pointed out and you are still mixing them up.

Are you asking about a medical exam?

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

We recently sent our AOS documents and are waiting for a letter for biometrics, since everyone seems to get one.

I posted 2 links and would like to know with which one I can find a possible address for the biometrics, that's all...

Okay, biometrics will be held at your local ASC, which may or may not be the same place as the field office where they hold interviews.

There is an ASC locator on uscis.gov
