Wow, so 30 days has no become 65. It is legal, unfortunately. It's the government. They can do whatever they want. & we all have no choice but to wait.

Didn't you already know that the gov't is above the law? They can do whatever they please and no one can say or do anything about it. Everyday goes by and it seems the illegals are treated with much higher priority than the rest of us who are trying to bring our loved ones here legally (and pay a dear sum to do that, too - not on our taxpayers' dime).

This is just unacceptable. I'm ready to call my local news agency and newspapers. Anything that will she'd light on how they can justify approvals not only flying through California but Tsc approvals in recent 2014 applicants when they have a backlog and are acting like Dec 1 2013 is a,rational response to givefamilies that have put their lives on hold. This is unacceptable, cold hearted, and simply unfair.

The tier 2 officer also told me ONLY usc could submit petitions for a fiance request 129f. Is that true? An LPR can't????

Good Morning all, My finance is in administrative processing. He has been in that state for so long that his

chest x-ray expired. He had to do the sputum test and the 9 week wait for results, which were negative. Now his medical is good til Novemember 2014. We called consoltorio de visas and spoke to someone, we wanted to know the cost to re-take x-ray only since the medical has not yet expired. We were given a price of $270. US dollars! We were told they don't do x-ray only!! Is this right? Why should he take the whole medical again if it is not expired only x-ray expired. 270 dollars and when he took medical back in November 2013 it was ony $180 dollars for everything except vaccines. Can someone shed light on this. Something just doesnt sound right. We were just trying to get ready for when they tell him to re-take x-ray. We werent expecting someone from consoltorios de visa to tell us that he had to take whole medical again cause they dont do x-ray only. Help! Has anyone ever gone through this. thanks in advance

On the i-129f application form it states:

Who May File Form I-129F?

You may file this petition if you are a US citizen and... so it seems you must be a citizen. Perminent Residents can file for a spouse.

Try contacting the embassy, since the Consultorio was useless. I've also seen many cases on AP because of the medical exam. Look through their posts and see if they offer any help.
