I-864 easy question

Ok so im filling up the forms.. my dad is the joint sponsor and my mom is filling the 1-864a

So for the i-864 that my dad is filling up... on question one.. do i put him as only joint support or do i do the i am the first joint support? 1.d or 1.e (indicating theres two sponsor) however i don't really need my mom only reason i have her filling the i-864a is becuz they JOINTLY Filed there taxes my dad alone meets the Poeverty guideline..

If they file jointly, you should.

i know what you mean but as the instruction say

Thi
s section is used to determine the sponsor's household income. Take your annual individual income from
Item Number 5. and enter it on
Item Number 6.c . If this amount is greater than 125 percent (or 100 percent if you are on
active duty in the U.S. military and sponsoring your spouse or child) of the Federal Poverty Guidelines for your
household size from Part 5., Item Number 8.

Then you will need to include either your father's entire tax return(s) or the W2 with the tax transcript to show his side of the household income.

hmmm seriously... well they are jointly filed for tax return...i do have his w2 though and tax return but its show as combine not individual...

WHy they make it so complicated... well i guess i'll put her money to to show im way way over the poverty guideline... lol
