k-2 EAD

Hi, i am confused of how i should approach this situation my daughter arrived in the U.S feb 21, 2014. I attempted to get her a social security card but the social security office said one of the requirements of her getting a SSN is she needs to have a EAD from USCIS. she's 4 so she cant work but ok i got pass that, my next concern was that she has been here for more then 90 days and i still have not filed a AOS. Can i file for a EAD before i file for her AOS? and because she has been here for more then 90 days will her EAD get denied?

my daughter arrived here on a k-2 derivative on a k-1 visa (her mom)

her mom and i married within the 90 days

reason for not filing all of this sooner was my employment situation (active duty military)

The SSA were (surprisingly, they don't often get it right) correct. A K-1 can get a SSN before they get an EAD, but a K-2 requires an EAD to receive their SSN.

You cannot file for an EAD before filing for her (and your spouse's) AoS.

Is it possible to File for my childs AOS first before i file for her mother (my wife) AOS?

or am i required to file both I-485 for both my spouse and my child all together? the fee's are killin me lol

It's cheaper if you file for them together, but you can file separately.
