Hi all,

So I filed an I-130 for my husband which recently got approved and is being sent to NVC. On gathering paperwork needed for the next stage, I realized my husband's middle name does not appear on his birth cert. it's however present in his passport and all other documents and we included this middle name when we filed the I-130. He started using the middle name out of the blue and didn't officially add it.

So my question here is, is it a big deal and if it is, what are our options?

Thanks in advance for all comments.

Can he get a legal name change?

Not sure how he got it on ANY other documentation when it's not on his birth certificate.
