Hi All

If documents have to be validated, is a Notary Public the required option or can they be certified by a solicitor or by an Embassy?

Thanks

What type of documents are you talking about? Here in the USA for example a notary simply verifies signatures and has nothing to do with content.

Solicitor will work for sure. Do you have Justices of the Peace in South Africa?

Hi All

I am actually based in the UK, the diversity requirements state:

"will need to submit original documents or certified copies of the documents listed below from an appropriate office, authority, or issuing entity in your country"

So I guess a solicitor certifying the documents MAY be OK.

I know from previous document validation (qualifications etc.) a "Notary Public" was the only validation that was accepted (Australia)...about £100 for a single page and then £20-£30 per page thereafter.
