Tell me, how do you quash it? There's organziations that are dedicated to trying to work with people(CAIR, Muslims for peace to name a few) and stop these horrible things from being carried out in Islam's name. But how do you stop someone if they want to do these things and claim Islam made them do it?

Go to Syria/Iraq and tell them to knock it off. Show them your Muslim card if they don't listen. Then, stop by Iran on the way back and tell them too.

What's funny is I have a Muslim card in my wallet. I'll drop by Afghanistan just because I'm a nice guy.

Really Marvin... if Islam doesn't care enough about themselves to quash those giving them a bad name in the name of their religion, who should be responsible?

What is different about Muslims living in Western countries to those in the troubled regions of the middle East? Do you see a difference?

If you can't separate terrorists from muslims, there is not really any hope for you. Muslims who are not terrorists have no more responsibility for trying to stop those terrorists than you do. Being a muslim is not being a terrorist. Try using a Venn diagram, that might help you work it out. Muslims, like christians are not responsible for every interpretation of their religion that is out there. One person summed it up, extremism is the product of a lack of education and opportunity, not a belief in allah (or any god). Leave regular muslims out of it, they have nothing to do with and no responsibility for terrorists.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

Are you suggesting in a roundabout way that Christians are not actually responsible for the ridiculous nonsense of the Westboro Baptist Church?

And THERE you have it, folks, he finally admitted it. During ramadan, too, so it must be even MORE true...

I knew it would come out sooner or later. I don't think he is really black either

If the Muslim world spoke out against terrorists the way Christians and most Americans speak out against and protest the WBC, Muslim extremist would not be an issue .

I'm certain you actually believe that.

About 40 members in the WBC montired by the FBI, SPLC, etc etc and despised by 100+ million americans

300 Million + Islamic extremist who have world wide networks of terror, control too many countries to count, in which women are treated like cattle

Yes it's the same thing

The WBC continues to exist and spew hatred, despite its 40 members to be despised by 100 million, as you yourself say. It takes more than public opinion and government agencies to fight their ideology of hatred.

You really should not be surprised that despite condemnation of several muslim leaders, fundamentalism still survives in countries where people are far less aware than your average American.

You ended up making the very point you set out to disprove.

Ah, and yes, so far, no plausible explanation as to why Brigitte failed to answer the question posed to her....
