Hi everybody I'm new here. I am a US CITIZEN got married overseas in Yemen in January 2014. I filed an I-130 in April 2014. I have been searching all over the web for information about process and time frame when my case will get approved. The more I searched the more confused and helpless I became. Ive seen people say it took them years before there are able to bring there wife to America. Is there anyone here that has went through the process. What can i expect? whats the next step any info will be great.

I have already recieved the receipt for my I-130. But I guess that doesn't matter cause everybody receives that quick anyways

No one can really tell you when only estimates based on others experience. Its a case by case but here is some info that might help a little. I am sure others will chime in after me. Scroll down until you see the petition you filed ie. I-130 https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processingTimesDisplay.do Or this one for TSC's processing times for I-130's https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard/ProcTimes.do
