very HAPPY that so many people got approved today, but even more concerned/panic about my own case now :(.... My NOA1 was 10/20/06, anybody out there in the same situation as I am , please follow the thread, at least this will let us know that we are not alone in the dark.

I used to think USPS is the slowest gov agency, but I guess it's CSC now :) lol......

Sorry to hear about your delay. CSC can be super fast or super slow. Have you tried to use the timeline feature here on VJ to see what others are experiencing? Anyway, good luck, hope your approval comes soon.

Have a look at the timelines... there are LOADS of people who filed in October (with earlier NOA1s than you... not to mention people who filed in September) who haven't got their NOA2s yet - the late-Oct NOA2s only seem to have started coming through in the last couple of days, so you have nothing to worry about! Fingers crossed that you'll get it soon, though. :)

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

I did a quick look and there are about 40 unreported NOA2's from all of October still (10-15 still from late October).

YMMV

Based upon average processing times, you are still on schedule. Are you signed up for email notification at USCIS. You can check on touches that way and see if any activity has been going on in your file. There is usually a flurry of activity just before the approval notice is sent.

Also, not everyone at the CSC is conscientious about sending out the notices. Many have expressed surprise at receiving the NOA2 in the mail before receiving an email notice.

Hang in there, you are getting close.

How do you mean 'outdated'? You do know that you can sort the timelines (by the date the petitions were sent, for example) and choose how many to view at once, so that you can get the information you're looking for...?

My fiance and I were advised that USCIS in CA received our petition on 10/27/2006. I checked our case fil on the USCIS website and, on 01/17/2007 and 01/18/2007 the fil was accessed. No other word so far. I hope that the USCIS lets me know by email asap ... oherwise I will wait for mail, of course. Good luck!
