Hi , we got our k1 visa, and now i m flying this month to the usa, but my fiancee has changed the adresse of where she lives, is that gonna be a problem for me at the port of entry at the airport on the usa if they ask me about the adresse and i tell them the new one?

Plus what do we need to do now after i get there on a k1 visa? And does everything go well at the port of entries? I mean do people have problems with not letting them enter the usa on a k1 visa? Please give me an asnwer and thanks to everybody. This is another level of stress after getting the visa we don t want things to go wrong now.

a. I don't think you will have a problem if you tell them the new address. You can offer an explanation anyway that your fiancee has moved to a new address.

b. Make sure you get married within 90 days upon your entry to the US.

c. So far, I have not heard of anybody being denied entry on a K1 visa. However, other problems may come up. In my case, the officer at POE handed me back the sealed envelope after inspection (I didn't know that time that they were supposed to keep it). I even asked what I was supposed to do with the envelope and he said I would need it when I file for AOS. A few weeks after arriving the US, I learned here in VJ that the sealed envelope was supposed to be kept by the IO at POE. My husband and I had to go to a CBP office to hand over the envelope for late processing. Fortunately all went well with that. So do remember that upon entry to the US, when you hand over the sealed envelope, they are not supposed to give it back to you.

Just relax when they interview you at your POE. All the best to you and your fiancee.
