Husband's accountant filed his tax as single (split topic)

Hi everyone! My husband is going to send his AOS package to the NVC this week. Luckily I got to read some of the topics here and found out about filing the tax. My husband's recent tax was filed single though we are married since last May 2012. He told the accountant about this matter even before he filed his recent tax. The accountant insisted that it is okay to file it single since I'm still not in the US. Now, we are confused on what we are going to do on our case. Are we going to continue to send the AOS package to the NVC or ammend the tax? Is there anyone here had a similar case like us and got approved visa? Or is it fine to proceed with the next step then ammend the tax when I arrive in the U.S? Thank you guys and I hope for a helpful response.

My hubby also was told to file single so he filed single, he amended it when we got our NOA2. Amending takes 8 to 10 weeks so we don't have a choice is to send the tax return that he filed as single then I am just going to bring the amended one during the interview. Call NVC and ask about your situation. I am also going to call.

my husband filed single too..so i am worried now.;( and about to send our aos package soon.any advice pls..thabk you...i am worried that they will goin to deny us or what will be the question during interview...
