Hi all, I don't usually post. But I received my NOA2 last night via email. I am an October 26 filer! Even more exciting when I searched the immigration timelines, I saw that I was one of 13 approvals yesterday from CSC! Wonderful news!

Mailed I129F Petition to NSC 10/21/2006

Interview 04/02/2007

Visa approved! 04/02/2007

Francisco arrives through Miami 05/01/2007

MARRIED! 05/11/2007

AOS/EAD received in Chicago 06/15/2007

NOA1 for AOS/EAD 06/20/2007

RFE 07/14/2007

RFE received and case processing resumed 07/20/2007

Biometrics 07/23/2007

AOS transfer to CSC 08/10/2007

AOS pending at CSC 08/16/2007

EAD approved 08/25/2007

EAD received 09/04/2007

Yes! I got my NOA2 yesterday too! I filed on Oct. 26th as well!

10/23/2006 Transferred to CSC

10/26/2006 NOA1 sent snail mail

11/13/2006 Received NOA1 - (Late due to my changing residences on 11/1. FYI, move before you file!)

11/13/2006 Called Customer Service to change address

11/29/2006 Touched!

12/02/2006 Received verification of Change of Address - snail mail

01/10/2007 Bought ticket to visit Pu on Valentines Day!

01/17/2007 NOA2!! via email

01/29/2007 NVC Left - Headed for Bangkok!

02/07/2007 Packet 3 mailed from US Embassy!

02/10/2007 Packet 3 received

02/20/2007 Packet 3 mailed (EMS Next Day)

02/21/2007 Packet 3 Received at Embassy (no signature)

03/06/2007 Received response from Embassy - Packet 4 mailed 02/28/07. Interview scheduled 5/16/2007!

05/16/2007 Interview. Embassy requests passport amended. Luckily the turnaround time is two days in Bangkok.

05/21/2007 Pu returns to Embassy with new passport, visa granted. Visa issued the following day.

05/26/2007 Pu arrives in USA!

05/30/2007 Married!

06/26/2007 Overnighted AOS petition to Chicago Lockbox

06/27/2007 AOS petition delivered to Chicago lockbox, signed for by V Bustamante

2006-12-20: Met in Belgium again

2007-01-19: Touched finally!! Send us a NOA2 please!!

2007-01-19: WE GOT NOA2!!!! HOLY COW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is great to see everything moving again at pre-holiday pace. Of course, I meant to say "we" got our approval yesterday! Whoops--this process makes it hard to remember I'm actually a "we". LOL!

I'm going to Colombia in 2 weeks so we have something to celebrate!

Pretty soon, early Nov. filers are going to start receiving NOA-2's from CSC-- and I'll start checking our case status a couple of dozen times/day!! :blush:

Our Timeline

08/03/06 -- Met online, have chatted almost every day since then

09/29/06 -- Met in person at the Lima Airport. 10 wonderful days together.

10/31/06 -- I-129F mailed to TSC

11/09/06 -- CSC cashes the check

11/14/06 -- NOA-1 Received

11/16/06 -- We get 11 days together in Arequipa (Betty's home town). I meet her family for the first time.

12/28/06 -- We get 19 days together in Arequipa. I'll be back in February.

01/18/07 -- Touched! First sign of life.

01/19/07 -- 12:10 AM, NOA-2! APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!! On to the next step.

01/19/07 -- Touched again, around 11 AM. I guess we're on the way to the NVC!!

April 5, 2007 - Interview in Rio

April 5, 2007 - Received visa...picked up on April 10

April 16, 2007 - POE Houston

July 14, 2007 - MARRIED!!!

***Green Card****

Oct 8, 2007 - NOAS for AOS/EAD/AP

Feb 15, 2008 - EAD ordered

Feb 21, 2008 - AP appoved

April 2, 2008 - APPROVED and Card Production ordered

***Removal of Conditions***

Jan 20, 2010 - NOA1 - Removal of Conditions
