Hi all! The house where my now husband and me are living has a mortgage that is under my ex husband's name and mine, with the AOS what kind documents can we send in a case like this?

That guide is certainly not set in stone, it's a very good idea to do so, and I'd never advise anyone to send in a naked I-485.

Indeed. I think because you will have had to demonstrate a bona fide marriage at the K-1 interview then it's less important for a K-1 AoS to show it, but at the very least you can cobble together some photos and a couple of affidavits even if you have literally nothing else.

It would be especially important to show at least some proof if it's been an extended period of time between receiving the K-1 visa and filing for AoS (this does not seem to apply to the OP's case, however).

You can send it in if u want, it is not necessary to prove bonafide marriage with AOS. If you are granted an interview, then u bring in the info, otherwise u r in the waived category.
