Japan Airline and American Airline.

I'm 15 but my mom didn't pay for an escort so i'm a bit worried.

So my dad can go with me all the way to the boarding gate?

You don't pay for an escort. Per airline policy/procedure with unaccompanied minors, you are automatically taken care of by airline employees. And as I said, Both United and Delta Airlines allowed parents to go through security to the boarding gate. When you check in at the ticket counter, the parent is given a one time special security pass.

Toyko - For normal layovers you don't have to do anything with your luggage it will be transferred to the next flight, you just need to walk to the correct gate for that flight.

Chicago will be your POE.

Uhmm, If Chicago will be my POE then in my next flight which is in Newark I don't have to go and fall in line in the customs again?

No customs in Newark you head to the baggage arrivals and retrieve your luggage. If this is your last flight you fiance will be waiting for you.

 Chicago will be the POE. The POE is always the first point of entry into the US, in this case it is Chicago. From Chicago to Newark it will be a domestic flight.

Zedayn is right.

You will pass through immigration first in Chicago, then you will retrieve your luggage and pass through customs. At this point you are now authorized to travel anywhere in the Continental United States or what we refer to as Domestically.

Once you pass through customs in Chicago then you will take your luggage to your next gate for your Newark bound trip. Once you arrive in Newark just go to baggage claim and get your luggage and meet your people. You will not need to travel through customs or immigration.

Welcome to the United States of America.

Doesn't the OP need paperwork or travel authorization from DSWD to travel as he is an unaccompanied minor?
