Well i does give me comfort knowing there are others going through the same waiting game. I dont know if i should laugh or cry?

looks like we will be postponing our trip to Manila in April :(

You still have time to file for AOS

I think you mean AP :)

That ticks me off so much about the whole 180/90 days thing. We have three different stories going on - 90 from transfer (as Katie heard), 180 days from transfer (as I heard from the automated system) and then 180 days from filing as wifeohunkyjohn heard. It's absolutely absurd that these people can be allowed to keep running our immigration when they can't even get anything straight!!! :ranting: :ranting:

Yes my hubby meant AP, bless him. There are just so many darn initials even I get confused.

As for the miss-information, well sadly that's how it gets its name. And the fact you have to ask yourself if they mean 180 days from filing AOS (for which hubby and I are on day 150) or 180 days from date of transfer (of which we are on day 99... it's bound to drive people crazy.

But he (said chap on said miss-information line) did say that at the end of Feb - his guess was around the 24th - we would be outwith processing times so, well... quite frankly who knows.

All I want is a straight answer

And if not a straight answer, then maybe a slightly wobbly but albeit consistent one.

Sigh

Annie

Let me know what happens since we are on a very similar timeline so I'll know if I should bother attempting to get anything done. My only pressing issue is we really want to buy a house soon and his greencard would be very helpful in doing that!

I just happened to pop on today and I read this post. Probably won't be of much help to anyone and sure won't be a morale booster but I have about the same time line as most of you so here goes anyway................... I finally got up the nerve and patients to call the 800 number yesterday. I got a really nice operator this time ( thank god) and I was told that my case was still with in the processing time and I had to wait until 30 days past it being out of the processing time frame which would be April first since I got my NOA1 September 1st it would be 6 months on March 1st and 30 days after that before I could call and they would be able to do a service request. Sorry guys but I figured I'd just pass it on. But since it seems everyone gets a different answer when they call and different time frames it may not mean much at all.

So it sounds like 180 days from filing then, not transfer? Why o why do they say I have to wait 180 days from transfer on the recording then? I hate stupid USCIS :(
