USCIS TSC Delays

From March 4 to October 7 is just over 7 months. That magic number of 5 months went out the window a while ago, unfortunately :(

Oh I know, but if you were to call up USCIS they will tell you that you have to wait until after their 'processing' date matches your NOA1 date and exceeds it. I know a lot of people have been waiting for it to hit March because all USCIS does is tell them there is a backlog at TSC and they have wait another 3-4 months -- even though we all know they aren't processing March exclusively.

Does their processing date mean that they are ONLY processing March applicants?Has anyone seen cases where the processing date said one thing but persons who sent in petitions after their processing dates got their NOA2?TSC is killing me,i thought the process would be smoother :'(

So finally the date changed on USCIS to Mach 4th, but what does this mean really, that they are only processing March applications, because the processing time now says 5.9 months meaning my 5.9 months should be at the end of November but I don't see how that is possible if they are just working on March 4th.

No, this is TSC covering it's tush - we can't determine how they figure out that date. We clearly see on the timelines non-expedited filers getting approved past March - not to mention much of April and May petitioners were transferred to CSC. This is just USCIS's timeline of the last file they 'touched' - it doesn't really mean anything EXCEPT...

If you are at your 5 month mark but your NOA1 date is AFTER their official 'processing date' you may have a hard time getting them to answer you if you call and request information about your file. They tend to be a bit argumentative and tell you to wait as their official processing date has not yet hit your NOA1 date or surpassed it. Beyond that it doesn't mean much.

With NVC, it could take about 2 weeks for USCIS TSC to send your approval to NVC. Then NVC sends it to your embassy. It'd be good to call NVC and your embassy after two weeks. Or it could hopefully happen faster. Good Luck!

This is the price we have to pay for coming to America...from a very tedious 129F to GC...

Goodluck to all of us. We can't work and we can't drive because we don't have proof yet of our residency.

Hi everyone, I am a June filer and up until today I have been the annoying person who has told everyone to be patient, that our moment in the sun will come too. I found out today that a SEPTEMBER applicant through TSC received an RFE. While I am happy that someone gets to breathe a sigh of relief and have some news, the jealous monster inside me told me to finally take some action.

I called the TSC and spoke with a customer rep, it didn't occur to me to ask for a Tier 2 officer. She refused to address the topic of why a SEPTEMBER applicant already had action on her file. She kept saying that since I have not received an RFE this means I don't need to provide extra info. But I think we all know this is fairytales since many people wait up to 6-7 months and then suddenly get an RFE.

So just wanted to bring this to your attention and say that clearly being nice in this country does not work. I grew up here, I pay taxes here, and work my butt off, the least I ask is that they process as quickly as California does. There is no good reason under the sun as to why the Texas Service Center should be so obnoxiously slow.

I sat down and wrote a letter to the Subcommittee on Immigration and Border Security, their address is:

B-351 Rayburn House Office Building
Washington, DC 20515

and I am currently trying to figure out who my congressman is to write a letter to them.

If anyone wants help writing these letters I am more than happy to provide the text of my letters.

Stop being patient, let's get loud!
