Haha, I originally assumed I was a July filer because I sent my package off in July. Then I realized much later that someone put themselves on the July filers that actually sent their package off in June but got their NOA1 dated July. oh so confusing. I noticed then that maybe I was indeed an August filer and well that's when I got awfully confused, the result was that I covered both bases and add myself to both.

What is it 'date sent off package' or 'NOA1 date', evidence would suggest the latter based on others, so really I'm an August filer after I assumed I was a July filer! :oops::oops:

And thanks, best of luck to everyone else, let the rest of your journey be hassle and RFE free!! :dancing::dancing:

I was reading through the May 2014 filers and someone had indicated that they called VSC and were informed that, "All cases received on/after 06/01/2014 are being sent from VSC to CSC to help equalize the workload". Hopefully we start seeing some movement soon.

I was reading through the May 2014 filers and someone had indicated that they called VSC and were informed that, "All cases received on/after 06/01/2014 are being sent from VSC to CSC to help equalize the workload". Hopefully we start seeing some movement soon.

Come to think of it even if transferred to CSC, processing time might still be a total of 7 months. We have already waited approximately 3 months and CSC seems to take between 3 to 4 months to process...

On my case status on USCIS website says" On July 17, 2014, we received your Form CRI-89, Petition to Remove Conditions of Permanent Resident Status Received, Receipt Number EACXXX, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by August 16, 2014, please call Customer Service..."

07/23/2012 - USCIS cashed our checks

07/25/2012 - Received Notice of Action letters for I-130, I-485 and I-765.

07/25/2012 - Received ASC Appointment Notice for biometrics. Biometrics scheduled for 08/14/2012 in Norfolk, VA.

08/07/2012 - Successful Walk-in Early Biometrics taken at a different ASC location (Alexandria, VA).

08/13/2012 - Called the FBI to ask about biometrics. USCIS have them!

08/27/2012 - Received Interview letter, Interview scheduled on Sept. 28th.

09/21/2012 - EAD card under production

09/28/2012 - Interview in Norfolk - No decision yet :(

09/29/2012 - EAD card received in the mail.

10/01/2012 - Case status updated - Approved! YAY!!!!

10/03/1012 - Card Production!!!!! YAAAAAAY!!!

10/10/2012 - Green Card received in the mail! It's beautiful!!!

To me this looks like your NOA1, did you receive this? biometrics appointment letter?

Also, it's a good idea not to reveal full case numbers on this forum :oops:

Also based on your home state, you would have filed to VSC, so no, I wouldn't be worried unless you didn't receive your NOA1 or Biometrics appointment letter.

Oh, and answering your question: I did receive a Biometrics letter on 7/22/2017 and I completed the biometrics on August 15th. Hopefully we'll receive an update soon. This wait is just killing me!

Hey guys, I have just received a letter telling me that I'm approved! woohoo! and without interview ;) the card is expected to arrive tomorrow. Good luck everyone, hopefully you'll get yours soon. God Bless :)

Our Visa Journey:

Hey guys, I have just received a letter telling me that I'm approved! woohoo! and without interview ;) the card is expected to arrive tomorrow. Good luck everyone, hopefully you'll get yours soon. God Bless :)
