Is there any way to track the status of the application, like we had with the I-485? Do you get a case number with your NOA?

Day 2 (Apr 25th) - Package arrived at Chicago Lockbox

Day 7 (Apr 30th) - Received Email confirmation for all 3 forms, checks cashed

Day 14 (May 7th) - Received all 3 paper NOA's and a biometrics appointment for May 23rd

Day 15 (May 8th) - Completed walk-in Biometrics appointment

Day 70 (July 2nd) - Received Text/Email notifying me AP (I-131) has been approved

Day 86 (July 18th) - Received AP documents

Day 109 (Aug 10th) - Received Interview notice for September 12th

Day 142 (Sep 12th) - Interview - Approved on the spot.

Is there any way to track the status of the application, like we had with the I-485? Do you get a case number with your NOA?

You can use the case number that comes with the Bio appointment notice to check your case status! alternatively you can also call USCIS and get your case number if you don't get a bio notice (that is if your bio is current) :)

Sent mine in July 2nd - already received it back because in the haste of everything and even though my packet was perfect... I FORGOT TO SIGN my 751! Agh! Signed and resent and they received it July 5th I believe.

Hi friends!

I too will be sending my packet soon to VSC. I'm still awaiting for my two affidavits to get notarized. I have a couple of questions before I send....

1) Did you all send pictures? The instructions specifically say documents so I wasn't sure and

2) My wife's conditional residency expires 9/11 (I know) it's ok that I send this anytime now before 9/11/14 right?

Thanks LindaC1990 for your prompt reply :) I'm hoping to send this out Saturday morning but if affidavits are not ready it will have to wait until next week. Looking at other people's timelines it looks like the NOA1 is sent out within a week so that's good to know.

Now with the NOA1, is that the proof we will need to show in the airport after her green card expires if we were to fly to Colombia after 9/11/14?
