I think early walk ins dos work and this is a good example, congratulations :)

I think an early walk in does help, also. I was looking at CSC approvals for the June thread, and applicants seemed to be approved roughly 3 weeks after biometrics, regardless of filing date. Perhaps that isn't written in stone, however.

Our office is never busy and we had Real Madrid vs Manchester United tickets and would be traveling on the day of our scheduled biometrics, so we just walked in and got it done early.

When we did AOS, we did an early bio for that, also. We received an interview date before others of the same filing time. Again, it could have been coincidence.

I do believe early walk in does help somehow. I did early walk in for AOS and my EAD was approved a day before my original bio date which really surprised me. anyway, congratulation on your approval!!

It's incredible to see every single June Csc petition approved and not a single approval from Vsc...Csc seems to be in an entirely different league than vsc and this should be unacceptable to those in authority. If it's true that these clowns are about to announce a new initiative that may potentially add more than 5 million individuals to the DACA initiative we can only imagine what this will do to the already ridiculously slow process.

The organization, content and overwhelming nature of the evidence you provide is the only edge in this quick approval thing. I personally think that the walk-in may add an extra layer but it is really not one of the most important factors for quick approvals. I know others who did early bios and their cases were delayed and they even received RFEs.

That is something you want to call USCIS customer service to speak to someone about. But seriously, you should still go to your biometric. I don't think cases get transfer from CSC to VSC. It is the other way around. It could just be a human error.

That is something you want to call USCIS customer service to speak to someone about. But seriously, you should still go to your biometric. I don't think cases get transfer from CSC to VSC. It is the other way around. It could just be a human error.

Whoever said I wasn't going to my biometrics appointment? I was just confirming with goatherder's question a few pages ago about which return address was on my biometrics letter.

07/26/2012 - 10/18/2012: 85 Days from Application Received to GC Received.
Removal of Conditions
07/22/2014 - 11/14/2014: 116 Days from Application Received to GC Received.
Naturalization
02/03/2016 - 05/31/2016 : 119 Days from Application Received to Oath Ceremony.
