My fiancee had her medical tuesday at SLEC. She received all the necessary vaccinations but

the varicela (chicken pox). The doctor checked the box on her vaccination record that the

vacccine was not widely available. He claimed the hospital was out of it at this time. Anybody

else experience this problem? Is this going to be an issue with AOS?

Did your fiance ever have the vaccine or chicken pox as a child? This same thing happened to my husband(then fiance) and we did receive an RFE after we sent in the AOS paperwork after we were married. I contacted Civil Surgeons and one advised if my husband went and got a blood test done to show he had the antibodies in his blood and have them send him a copy of the report, he would fill out the paperwork and sign off on it. The blood test was covered by our insurance and the Civil Surgeon only charges $25.00 for the paperwork. I would suggest once she gets here an d you get married(or even before marriage), to do what we did, so that it saves time, as we had that RFE.
