It's the electorate that is the problem.

Blind partisans act like sports fans. They're just groupies of their team, without principles. Their team PRETENDS to have principles but both teams are working for the banks and military-industrial-security complex along with other political donors.

I can't stand listening to them. Obama, Bush, etc. - lie to my face and call me stupid for believing what your speech writers painstakingly constructed. Every single word to deceive. But the electorate: Bush was worse than Obama was worse than Bush was worse than Obama was Bush did it too and Obama did it too.

Divide and conquer is what a two party system accomplishes. The same money powers own both of them and it is us who have been conquered.

I actually think we have come out pretty good. If the Democrats were in power fully we probably would spent ourselves into oblivion already and if the Republicans were running the show we would have had austerity causing the economy to freefall. The gridlock in many ways created the 'safest' course.

As it is, politics is becoming ever more divisive, with the middle ground becoming a mirage that neither side seems willing or able to attain, either with their candidates, or their policies. :unsure:
