As a result of that review, we have identified additional documentation may be needed. We recommend that you bring the documents listed below to your naturalization interview to limit any potential delays that might result if needed documents are not available at interview. In the event additional documentation is required, you will be advised during your interview. All documents must be clear and legible. If you have a document in any language other than English, please
provide an English translation along with the original document. The translator must certify that the translation is complete and accurate, and that he or she is qualified to translate. If you have any questions about your interview or about the information requested please contact USCIS National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283. Thank You.
USCIS recommends you bring the following documents to your interview:
o Bring your state-issued driver's license or state-issued photo identification card.
o Bring all passports and travel documents (including expired and current) issued to you by any government.

I got the exact same thing today.

I have 3 expired Philippine passports, and only one of those has the stamp when I first entered the US. Should I bring all 3, even though the other two were issued before I even met my spouse?

I have 3 expired Philippine passports, and only one of those has the stamp when I first entered the US. Should I bring all 3, even though the other two were issued before I even met my spouse?

There's really no reason they'll need those old passports, but there's nothing confusing or unclear about the instructions:

"Bring all passports and travel documents (including expired and current) issued to you by any government."

So the answer is yes, take those three expired passports with you.

I haven't got the interview inline notification (InLn) is it normal not to receive it but still the process have gone forward or I'm stuck there? FYI, I didn't get the fingerprint notification either!

If you haven't received any email notification from the USCIS, you can verify it on their website https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard/ProcTimes/SubTypes.do

It is best if you set up an account with them, if the date changes it means they are working on your case.

I too got the yellow notice asking for additional docs to be brought to interview. I haven't received any 'in line waiting' notifications for interview, but I figured the yellow letter is an indication that things are moving along. Does anyone know what the importance of passports are at interview? Is it to prove identity or do they require you to turn them over as part as naturalization? I ask cause although US doesn't recognize duel citizenship, Canada does and I wanted to keep my Canadian passport. Any info on this would be appreciated. ?

Does anyone know what the importance of passports are at interview? Is it to prove identity or do they require you to turn them over as part as naturalization? I ask cause although US doesn't recognize duel citizenship, Canada does and I wanted to keep my Canadian passport. Any info on this would be appreciated. ?

The US does not recognize dual citizenship, but does not prevent you from having a second passport as long as you enter and leave the US on your American passport. Essentially, they just don't care about the other passport.

They will not take it from you at the interview.

The passport is used as proof of identity and proof of legal name (unless they ask for a birth certificate or a name change document or a marriage certificate).

It is also used to check your travel dates and to determine how long you've spent outside the US. As a Canadian, you may have several trips that don't have corresponding entry stamps, so I'm not sure how they keep track of your trips, but for people from other countries, they often look through the passport to see if your stamps match the trips you listed on the N400 form.
