It is not that easy. Everyone has a relative they would like to take with them and the US is very aware of ways people try to beat the system and get status for those that aren't petitionable. Unless the parents are dead or really unable to care for the child ( not just giving them up to send them to the US ) you have no path. You need to prove the parents can't care for the child ( like they are babbling idiots) Read more here http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwhadop.html

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

You can't adopt him with the parents living (for immigration purposes anyways, whatever about the law in your home country).

If you have the money and are willing to look after the nephew financially, then maybe a good boarding school in your home country?

I would like to bring my nephew to the USA. I am a permanent resident. His parents who are not married are giving him up for adoption since they cannot take care of him.

Hi,

The US is very strict on adoption and immigration.

The US is aware that people will adopt relatives so they can bring them to the US as apoted children when they can not petition for those relatives.

The US requires 1) the child is an orphan (two dead parents, or one dead patent and another who can not care for the child based on the local conditions), and the adopted parent in non-Hauge Convention adoptions must live with the child as parent/child for 2 years before an immigration visa can be granted.

Too many people have tried apoting relatives for immigration purposes. Adopt a niece. Niece still calls adopted mother "auntie" and keeps in contact with "mommy and daddy."
