Is Alien Registration Number the same as Beneficiary ID?

Hi folks,

We have finally received email notification from NVC to advise that "our immigrant visa petition is now eligible for further processing at the National Visa Center (NVC)". Whoop!

I'm trying to fill out the I-864 AOS, however it is asking me for my Alien Registration Number (A-Number), which I cannot seem to locate ANYWHERE. From browsing the forums, everyone says that its available on the NOA2, but we havn't received a NOA2 yet. All we have is the email notification from NVC. On the email, however, it does give us the following information:

• NVC Case Number
• Invoice ID Number
• Beneficiary ID Number

Is the Beneficiary ID Number above the A-Number? It is 8 digits in length...if not, how can I find it out?

An alien number is 9 digits, sometimes preceded by an "A", so A123-456-789.

The alien number should be indicated on your approval notice, which you say you don't have yet, so you can't get it.

If you dont have it or it doesn't come on the NOA2 (mine didn't) none is an appropriate answer for that question.

Just to confirm aswell, for ALL OTHER fields that would be left blank, should I write None in for those?
