We sent my husband's AOS/EAD/AP paperwork in November, 1 month after getting married and 2 months after arriving on k-1. He received EAD in the end of January and the in February the notice if interview waiver letter. We understood that there was still a possibility of an interview but that it wasn't common. We were living near cleveland until a month ago and hadn't heard anything from USCIS and website was stuck in acceptance stage. Recently moved to Chicago and did a change of address on the website and received confirmation letter in the mail and via email. Today we received an appointment notice in Cleveland -_- dated June 20 and sent to our old address. It was thankfully forwarded by the usps as the website is still in acceptance. I just got off the phone with a USCIS call center worker who did a service request for us explaining the situation and allegedly sending it to the cleveland office. Anything that we should do? The appointment is for July 11th and I'm nervous that cleveland won't hear anything and think we didn't show up. Call center worker gave me confirmation number and his name and agent ID. Any input is appreciated!

If you have a pending case you also have to do a phone change of address, not just the online thing.

It sounds like the change is now lodged properly and your file will be moved to Chicago. They have the fact that you called in their system, if you need insurance on that.

They will make the arrangements. The Cleveland office doesn't have jurisdiction to make any decision on your case anymore, so it will be forwarded. Good luck.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

My wife changed her address from Florida to Michigan for temporary and got confirmation letter. On July 1st, she received her potential interview waiver letter that still has old address. However, USPS did forward her mail to new address. We are planning to call USCIS again to make correction.
