Hi there,

Guys I'm almost done with all my documents and supporting documents. Here is one of my last inquires;

My Joint sponsor provided everything to me I mean his tax papers w2 and etc. the only thing that we can't get is his job letter because he's going to a business trip which is going to take him for a month and the company he works for doesn't provided it less than a week and they never give it to anyone else than their employee. So here is my question a complete i864 without job letter is ok ora job letter is a "MUST"?

Thanks a lot

Can you get 6 months' worth of pay stubs from him and send that? Plus complete tax returns, then you might get lucky and not get RFE'd.

I believe that they usually also want to see the employment letter, they will RFE you for that if you don't send it with the original package.

No, job letter most definitely is not a must. During my AOS I submitted 6 months worth of my wife's pay stubs and complete tax returns for last three years - no job letter as she (and me too) is working is very large company where HR is pretty much completely unresponsive - so she didn't want to bother with it. Had inteview and GC 2.5 months after submitting the package.

Kzielu you are GREAT !!! Thanks a lot i wish you and your wife happiness and health... Im talking to everyone they just try to make me depress :( I have paystubs more than TEN. Yesterday as i bothered him so much :) my joint-sponsor explained to me that Job letter is the same as Pay Stubs. And he gave me his recent (06.29.2014) pay stub too and he said those are more than JOB LETTER.

So i think it is the same. and as you said: his company`s HR is unresponsive thats why we dont want to bother too... but your response is a "period" :)

Thanks again

I got by fine by just simply printing out the "employee profile" page on my company's intranet resource page and having my supervisor sign it. My profile page has my name, title, salary, history, benefits, and address listed.

For ours my husband couldn't really get a letter from his boss because he works remotely and they are in a different state. We just sent as many paystubs as we could and his employee web page file thingy. We are still in the process so I don't know if this is successful or not ^^; good luck mate!

This is what we did except for a supervisor signing it. Hopefully it will be okay for us without signature xD
