Please don't trouble folks here for details that take away from their supposedly valid arguments. That is not allowed. Might even get you in trouble with the mods...

Unless you use 2010 data, which seems to the the most recent & complete group of statistics...

"Whites (including Hispanics who identified as white) constitute the majority, with a total of 223,553,265, or 72.4% of the population"

Dave, as I previously stated, the poll demographics has a 7% allotment for Hispanics figured in already, so 73% white without the Hispanic factor, would be extremely high and not representative of the US populace. I am not discounting the poll results, I am simply pointing out what appears to be a misrepresentation of the country as a whole.

If you go back to my post where I list my "best and worst" Presidents since WW2, you'll see that I don't hold Obama in very high regards compared to the other Presidents. I don't agree that Obama has been the worst President since WW2, but he's definitely in my bottom 5.
