Any one know if and why the london embassy was closed yesterday? Husband saw a sign that it was closed and that people had to reschedule interviews.

Luckily we were today! We got approved!!!! Yayayayayay. we are in a wee coffee shop and he is writing the whole experience down so we can share with you.:) :)

Two people who post here said they got emails on Monday cancelling the appointment for Tuesday. They were not given a reason for the closure.

If it changed to "Issued" today, I estimate you'll get the tracking email on Monday or Tuesday - lately, it's been approximately two working days from visa issued, with the email being sent late in the afternoon.
