The community where you come from did you see any married with paper? Did your parents have any paper for their marriage? If you answered yes to these questions then you probably will not understand that the paper is not the major documentation for a valid marriage in nigeria. Try to be honest with your culture unless you are from a different country. If you're from a different, stop commenting on issues you're not familiar with.

Two posts suggesting lying to immigration authorities and one post responding to same have been removed as violating the Terms of Service for Visa Journey

Condone or instruct, either directly or indirectly, others on how to commit fraudulent or illegal immigration activities in any way, shape, manner or method.

Please note: USCIS is aware of and recognizes traditional forms of marriage as being valid forms of marriage if the beneficiary's country recognizes the marriage. In order to qualify for an immigration benefit as the spouse or fiancee of a US citizen the beneficiary must be divorced, not just separated, from any previous or multiple spouses at the time of the marriage, and be able to provide documented proof of same before they can apply for a spousal or fiancee based visa.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

I'm  CR1 applicant ....filled by my wife...my civil document was rejected, let me start with the story ..

I was formerly married but divorced ..my past marriage was an traditional engagement and later dissolved..I went to get a notary.stating it's dissolution Jan 2018  and also have the customary court dissolution of previous marriage .I gave my wife(US) the copy of the notary affidavit of dissolution earlier, which she used as part of document that she used to file for me...and was sent to USCIS before my case was approved...on getting to NVC I had already gotten  a  customary court case dissolution of the marriage  June  2018,but when  I was about to upload my civil document my wife said I should only upload the notary dissolution, because thats the real  document that was sent to USCIS by her .....before I got the customary court ...so then I uploaded the notary dissolution  of marriage as a part of my civil document required ...few weeks later I got my status update from NVC that it's document has been rejected and I should get a proper court authority of marriage dissolution...

Sir/ma,  I seek your advice to know if I should still upload the customary court marriage dissolution .I'm scared because they would have read the notary own and see the date information...but if they see the customary court won't it look contradicting that when I have this why didn't I upload it ...

Sir/ma please advice me on solution to this ..
