In the checklist provided by the US Embassy in Manila it states that the DS-11 must be filled out electronically. I cant find one that I can fill electronically with out putting a SSN for my child in the box. Should I just use 000-00-000 and move on?

Im wondering what I should do...any help would be appreciated.

I tried opening the file from state.gov website and I'm not able to edit any of the lines. I will try to open and edit it with adobe acrobat within the day and give you update. Also, you might wanna check the new changes for CRBA at USEM link again.

It looks like we're not gonna be able to book an appointment now for July. I wonder if we can start sending applications now or wait until August 1st?

The checklist has changed..It seems as if the DS 5507 is not required any more..I will send it anyway..The link on the new checklist for the DS-11 leads to an expired copy that does not let you fill it electronically.

We got lucky and got our appointment for July 16th...Good luck to you! I just need to get all of this sent to my Wife so we can get our daughter here!

Oh could you give me the link to that new DS-11?

Look at this link:

http://travel.state.gov/content/passports/english/passports/new.html

You have the options to complete it by hand or fill electronically and print.

Good luck to you as well!

I just told my wife.....if they approve the crba...what difference does it make if the DS-11 is electronic or not...we are applying for a passport of a verified US citizen at that point......I feel I am at a level of stress that I have personally not felt before...lol. I am in the military by the way...hahahahahahahahahaha....job stress is different than personal stress and its the lesson for me here.... But I still want to make it as easy to process as possible...I would like to to thank the US Embassy in Manila for changing the checklist on the eve of me sending our package to my wife and then I would like to thank God for ensuring I did not send it before...so...THANKS GOD!
