Would the father want to take of the daughter full time?

If not use that to your advantage. IE as the father if your soon to be wife wants to leave he would then be required to take full custody. I suspect he may not want that.

I guess you offered the school angle then right? IE. In the US during the school year and Russia for all other days.

That's exactly the angle we have been working.

The guy is a narcissist and what's best for the child is 29th or 30th on his

list of priorities.

Does anyone have an idea on how easy and how long it would take

to get a student visa for the child? or a link?

I would start by looking for a school that accepts international students and issues I 20's.

Non immigrant Visa interviews are usually not that long. Same as a B give or take.
