Ok, I am confused again...hehe more confusion to come too. Anyways, I thought all K1 application are mailed to the Texas Service Center Dallas. I noticed people talking about CSC being process faster and TSC slower. Can someone clarify this for me? Is the the second step after mailing the application to the Dallas Center? I live in Minnesota, what is my service center, CSC or TSC? thanks.

  • No, you don't mailed your package to TSC. You mailed it to Dallas Lockbox. These two are totally different.
  • Recently CSC faster than TSC. But it always changing.

petitions (after they are received at the dallas lockbox) are routed to service centres based on a combination of the petitioner's address and workloads for the different service centres. when you get your NOA1 hardcopy in the mail, the case number will tell you which service centre you'll be at.

if the case number starts with SRC = texas. if it starts with WAC = california.

Minnesota is listed as a CSC state, so you can be thankful for that. As to why TSC is slow, do a search here and you will find many posts with a lot of speculation(and frustration).
