Alien Registration Number Changed 3 months back & no approval yet

On March 13, 2014, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case.

This is the message i received on March 13, 2014. We did not receive acknowledgement letter or email about this change. Could any one please explain what does it mean & when will they issue NOA2.

Can't wait to see my wife.

What did USCIS say when you called and asked them?

Case Complete to Interview spreadsheet

From now on your VJ Member name will be verified. If the name you put on form to be added to spreadsheet comes up not found, you will not be added to the spreadsheet. If you don't have a timeline you will not be added to the spreadsheet.

I never called them.

Also to rectify, I got accepted but still waiting for approval.

Can anyone throw some light why do they mean by Alien Registration Number Changed & what does this mean.

Its what we call a boilerplate email. Means nothing. For whatever reason they go out and they are meaningless. But why not call USCIS to ask what is going on with your case? Are you past the 5 month processing time?

No, I am not past 5 months. Hopefully this July or August I will complete 5 months. I more concerned about why did they allot ARN and did not acknowledge until now. Why do they allot ARN at such early stage?

They don't that's what I am saying its like some stupid thing USCIS does and just hasn't fixed. Like sending a "change of address" when one wasn't done.

Some usually get approval right away like you no. It's an email mistake nothing more. You A number comes after the interview.
