Finally something happened as scheduled.

My wonderful hubby got his green card today on the 21st of August just as the letter stated.

Yeah,I am ready to celebrate.I wish all of those waiting a speedy process.

I ended up not hiring an attorney and I wrote to the director in Pennsylvania where we got the RFE for not having the physical done by a panel physician which it was done by a panel physician and verified at the embassy in Guyana before they would even let us sit down to do the K1 interview.

I explained to her that I went to in for pass and the man there told me that I would have to reapply or get an extension since it had almost been a year since biometrics were done and we were approved for the advanced parole and that hubby never got approved for work after we paid for it they kept saying they never got the paper work it was sent in 3 times and that I paid for it and hubby isn't working it would be a hard ship for us to have to reapply and pay any further fees.

3 days later we received an approval letter and our status was updated at the USCIS website, that was July 31'st and then we got the green card in the mail today August 21'st

I have no answers as to how this process works with the exception of it being very stressful and a terrible way to start off your first year of marriage but hey if you can make through this you probably have a solid relationship.
