You have to wait on the biometrics letter to try to do the walk in. I'm in the same waiting situation for biometrics letter.

Yes you still get RFE after NOA1.. The NOA1 is just a notice that they got ur packet and will give you your Case Number.

We are still waiting as well, 3rd service request. The only thing we were told is that on June 30th it was transferred to Washington.

HI everyone! I just checked my status online and it said "Welcome notice was mailed" ! Woohoo! :) I should receive the green card by September 25. I hope that everyone that's still waiting for it will receive it soon and I am so grateful for all the information from this forum, it has been very helpful.

I was wondering what should I do with the application for the EAD renewal? Do you cancel it or is it done automatically?

I have a question... When u renewed ur EAD card did you attach it to the barcode it first arrived with ?

Ok July 31,we got text and emails from USCIS that we were approved and a welcome letter would be sent in the mail.August 4,we received the welcome letter and which says the card is in production and we should receive it in 3 weeks.

Good luck to everyone in this journey,it is a rough one and I had no idea how difficult it is.

Called yesterday to submit my third service request. I cant believe its been over a year since we filed and we have nothing. I had to renew the EAD and sont think I will get it on time for september 3rd! My hisband will lose his job sadly .... Yesterday we talked to a tier 2 perosn and he put in a request to expedite. I hope to hear news soon! Anybody else still waiting?

We are in the same boat, last week my husband called to put in his 3rd SR, and was transferred to a tier 2, and he was told that his case is pending another review that he couldn't tell him how long it would take b/c there are many cases like his and that he didn't need to do a SO. He also said that he had his work permit that he should be fine.
