NO we are still waiting out all of the set backs. We got a notice of interview waiver in April then a week ago got a letter saying the medical wasnt in the paper work from the embassy and that the vaccines were done by a non panel physician.

The physician we used was on list emailed to us from the US Embassy in Guyana and he remains listed on the USCIS website also the vaccines were attached to the medical form so how they got one with out the other is a mystery to me.

Called the 1-800 number today and the lady didnt tell me much that I didn't already know except that I could apply for a Pro Bono attorney but I am sure they are back logged so I contacted my same attorney I had for my K1 visa, I will let her handle it.

I am tired sending in stuff to only have it come up missing.Never did get the 765 they say they never got it,re submitted it 2 times as per the info pass suggestion but we never got a response back but we did get the advance parole on the first try.

That is brutal, so you have a interview waiver and no EAD ?

Yes and it sucks and its not like I didn't pay the correct fee because I did and even the guy at info pass was stumped when I showed him post office receipts that they were delivered with the correct address however they say they never received any of them and then I never received any correspondence back.

I hate spending money for an attorney for something that I feel I can complete myself but I am so frustrated I don't want to deal with it anymore so I will let it be someone else's headache for me.

After reading what you went through I wouldn't blame you. USCIS has demonstrated that they're incompetent, it's frustrating.

So this should be your 6th month, hopefully you hear something soon.

Thanks! Have you tried calling USCIS? If not, call them and ask for tier 2 rep. A tier 2 rep. is able to locate your application and you can guesstimate how much longer it will take to receive a GC! Also, don't trust USCIS website. My status still says "fingerprint fee was received." Hope yours will be approved shortly!!!!!

Well this was a surprise! I got my welcome letter in the mail today, and we were all ready to go and ask the Congressman for our area to help but now we don't need to! :) :)

My filing date was officially July 9th, so it's only taken just the 364 days to get here! One question, though; is it normal for the website to not update? The case status still says "My fingerprint fee was received", but they mailed the welcome letter on the 2nd. I'm sure it is!! It's nice to be officially allowed to stay!! :D :D

Congratulations!

The website updating is not normal and it should have updated to 'We Mailed Your Welcome Notice". However we are seeing more and ore cases of this happening recently. No cause for concern and your GC will come but it sucks.
