We also got that letter at the beginning of January.

Same here.

I have not received a letter like that (fingers crossed that I don't!). Did they give a reason for the delay?

They said that they were waiving the interview, but that there were delays due to too much work. :-/

You have to wait on the biometrics letter to try to do the walk in. I'm in the same waiting situation for biometrics letter.

Yes you still get RFE after NOA1.. The NOA1 is just a notice that they got ur packet and will give you your Case Number.

Been a while since I've posted anything but I'm in this boat too. If I look up my case status on the unnecessarily re-designed uscis website I get something like, thank you for your fingerprinting fee. They processed it on July 7th. I went and did all the hoop jumping for biometrics, and whatnot. Got my EAD which has been somewhat useless (though I'm sure I'll get something, the hiring process here is nuts) and an interview waiver letter back in October dated the 14th. That puts my 6th month this April 14th and based on what I've read I shouldn't expect anything until about June. How ridiculous. On the bright side, if you look at the trends for the rest of the process it seems that this is the longest wait from this point forward. Thankfully my EAD doesn't run out until September so Plenty of time in June/July to renew it if nothing happens. I just want to start my official residing time!

We got the same thing but we didn't receive it until around March for a possible interview waiver with an additional 6 month delay.

Hi every one. I haven't posted anything here but i have been following this forum from a while now. Im a july 2014 aos filer and i received my green card on 3rd of March without any interview or interview waiver letter. Almost 2 months ago i filed a service request online because my case was over 6 months. 3 weeks later i got a letter from uscis asking for my vaccination form, which i sent on 21st of feb along with a copy of my son's birth certificate. 4-5 days later when i checked my status i was surprised because it said that my card was sent for production. I wasn't expecting this at all and could not believe it until i got my gc in my hand. Thanks to Almighty, this process is over for me in a very pleasant and unexpected way. I wish good luck for everyone waiting on their decisions and hope that this long waiting process ends delightfully for every one.

Still waiting..... July 23rd sent off AOS, I131 and 485 with 1 RFE. Got conflicting emails/text with case updates - one with interview date for March 26 then changed same day (hours later) to will update case by April 18th.... Don't really know what to do. Go on the interview date, call to find out if that date stands, or wait until the 18th as it says on website. USCIS is doing really bad for me. Either mail is undeliverable or conflicting....

Well we finally received a possible waiver for interview letter around March 1,2015. Hubby is getting frustrated,hope they get to our case sooner rather than later.

We filed beginning of July... I did my biometrics in August but then had to do it again earlier this year. Not sure what happened, but I guess they may have lost it? We finally received our interview date - TOMORROW!!!

It's really weird but I'm not nervous at all. We have all our paperwork in order and our relationship has gotten better in time.
