Really??? That is crazy. How come everyone gets their GC really fast? So unfair

From my understanding it just seems like luck. I think where you live probably has a factor too on how long it takes.

did you receive the interview waiver letter??? 'Cause I haven't received it, just NOA1... and Dec 19th will be 5 months exactly....

My husband got the potential interview waiver letter today. NOA1 was last July. The local Dallas office was processing January 2014 cases at the end of October. I'm curious to see where they are when they update again. We're not holding our breath.

Also, it appears as though some cases are being asked for new medicals. I REALLY hope this isn't the case for my husband.

Today we received the letter of potential interview waiver, now we have to wait 6 months... this Is crazy...

Don't let that letter fool you sind27. There's virtually no chance of your case getting dealt with in six months - the NPIW letter lies.

The reality is that they are still processing February 2014 NPIW cases at the moment and they are processing them very very slowly.

I invite you follow my footsteps and leave these July filers behind as I once did. They're talk of approvals in 3 to 6 months will only sadden your heart as you begin your wait for the cows to come home, for hell to freeze over, or until you've gone blue in the face. Come join us in the main 'Notice of Potential Interview Waiver' thread where you will be warmly received and in very good company. There you will hear stories of expiring medicals and of the 'son of the NPIW letter' who does tell you to wait another six months!

Commiserations and welcome to the NPIW club, in perpetuum, ad infinitum. Take a seat :-)
