Thank you @KASH2011. I went to the ASC in Boston today to try and walk in early. They were very nice. It was very busy, so they said they couldn't do anything for me today, but the manager gave me another appointment for this thursday morning. :) So I guess I have my Biometrics appointment on Thursday. It did help that I had brought proof of the fact that I was not going to be there on the original appointment date.

Keep calm guys.I filed in may and still dont have my interview date

Good to know. I wonder if you'll get an interview waiver?

I did my walk-in biometrics before some of the posters here (at the same SA location) and they already got interview testing. It's been about 3 weeks since then... I haven't tried calling yet, but wondering if I should be?

I have a number of 2nd and 3rd interviews lined up this week and early next week. I have been trying to delay it as much as possible but the companies seem very eager and I'm hoping that if I do need to request expedite that it would be possible in my area.

A lot of us here has done an early walk in and has been successful. It never hurts to try! Good luck :)

I don't think I will try. Don't really have the time to go up there to maybe get it done. Especially since a couple of friends are visiting.

Hi All!

My husband and I have not had time to update our driver's licenses with our new address together. Besides, who wants to go to the DMV anyway? I was wondering if it is a must to have the same address on our IDs? I looked into DMV's website and it says on their that we can update our address online but they won't send us new cards with our updated address. Should we report our licenses stolen/lost and request for a replacement card?

Please advise.

Thanks!

Did my early biometrics yesterday, August 19! Oakland office, super nice. The manager wrote my husband's alien number on his k-1 visa and said if they asked who wrote this during the interview say an immigration officer at Oakland... Kinda weird.

Hi all,

I'm new to this forum, but doesn't mean that I'm less worried about my case (just like all of us are).

I had my Biometrics done on Aug. 4th and my I-485 online case status changed to Testing and Interview a week after, but haven't received an email or a letter yet about it.

Also, does anyone know how long will it take to get the Employment Authorization Card? I really need to get back to work, since my job is pending :(

Having just one of us working is getting a real struggle  (rent, car payments, insurance, bills etc.)

I did my biometrics this morning! :)

I waited until my appointment date, which was today, 9am, at the Brooklyn ASC (60th Street). Everything went very smoothly. I brought my appointment notice and my passport, as instructed in the letter. We arrived at about 8.30am and there were already people there having their biometrics done (I assume they may have had 8am appointments). My wait time was about 10 minutes. A very polite lady took my fingerprints, electronic signature and photo and then I was done. I finished by 8.55am, which was 5 minutes before my appointment time.

A good experience all round. Lets hope my EAD arrives soon!

Yesterday, I went to my biometrics appointment at the ASC in Boston. I can't believe how nice everyone was. It took less than an hour total. I wrote more about it on my blog:

Now, I can't wait to get my EAD!

Hey guys! Did my interview Aug 20, I got RFE for my paystub or W2 at the interview. I sent it off the same day. Hoping to see a change in my case soon. Anyways the interview wasn't challenging for me. She let us take the oath, then asked how we met, if we communicated while I was back home, how long we been together, asked us questions from the i485 (yes or no questions) told me that everything seemed good and she loved how organized my package was only paystub needed. She told me that she won't let us drive all the way to Anchorage again because it's a 6hr drive. She said I jus need to mail the paystub and everything will be fine. She told me about removal of conditions and she also asked if I wanted to keep my last name hyphenated on the greencard. She looked through my pics and joint documents then kept them. Took about 15mins

June 2, 2014: sent Aos package June 28,2014: Received Rejected AOS package for incorrect fees? AOS, EAD, AP application were received July 1st - Nebraska Service Center

Biometrics was done on July 28th

Haven't heard anything back since then...not even a change in status....

I've got a domestic trip planned for Sept. 18. I am worried that they may schedule an interview on the date of my trip. Should I be worried?

Did our biometrics today at the Detroit ASC office. It just took about 10 mins to get done. Everyone there was really helpful and courteous.
