You have to wait on the biometrics letter to try to do the walk in. I'm in the same waiting situation for biometrics letter.

Yes you still get RFE after NOA1.. The NOA1 is just a notice that they got ur packet and will give you your Case Number.

My Local office is in San Jose.

And my EAD / AP combo card just arrived as well, which is awesome!

Mine took 4 days after interview scheduling status change online until I got my interview appointment date. Yours is definitely on its way!! Where is your local office?

July 15th - sent package I-130, I-131, I-485, and I-765

July 20th - received message, that package was received and accepted

July 21st - Got job offer

July 25th - Received biometrics appointment letter for August 10th

July 28th - early walk-in for biometrics successful in San Francisco, CA

July 30th - Contacted local congresswomen to expedite AP and EAD

July 31st - Sent evidence for expedite case

Aug 05th - I-485 case changed to "Testing and Interview"

Aug 08th - I-131 and I-765 changed to Card/Document production

Aug 12th - received notification for interview on Sep 12th via mail

Aug 13th - I-485: Received text message that interview date notice was sent out

Aug 14th - Received message that EAD/AP card was sent and tracking number 7h later

Aug 15th - EAD/AP combo card arrived

Sep 12th - Interview in San Jose, CA - Approved!

Sep 12th - Status changed to card in production

Sep 18th - Status changed to GC mailed (did not get any tracking number this time)

Sep 19th - GC in hand!

Why? What is your receive date? When I called they said since it was more than 30 days after my receive date, I could file a service request. And it was how I knew that they already scheduled my biometrics from the request response they sent to my email.

Try again. Maybe another customer services person can actually help you!

My receive date is July 29th. I guess i'll just wait, if still nothing on September 4th then we will gonna call them again about it. But im hoping i will get it next week. This is so crazy. Some got their biometric schedule after a week or two.. Grr

we aos'ed one week before you and I just received the biometrics letter today.

yay! it will be there soon, though I dont understand why it takes longer for some.

Also we are in the Nebraska Service Center although we are closer to CA.

Hi July filers. I filed in June but everything has been incredibly delayed. Was wondering if there were any July filers with a recent biometrics appointment? Have had a quick look through the thread but can see that most of you did walk-ins at the end of July. Would be nice to find someone with a recent appointment like mine to compare progress with :)

I didn't do a walk in! I got mine on july 31st and my case is already in interview and testing. Bellow you can see my immigration progress! Good luck ;)

Hi! I had my biometrics appointment on the 13th (I didn't know until the day before, when I found this forum, that you could do an early walk-in!)

I'm adjusting from a B2, though; not sure if there's any difference with K1 regarding progress. (I found there's another thread for cases like mine, but I keep checking here, too.) :)

Our receive date was July 16 and Notice date is July 30.. No Biometrics Letter yet and called USCis and told me to call after 30 days of the Notice date.. I guess i will call them again and hope they could send a Service Request for me too...Ours is forwarded to Nebraska Service Center they said.

When TWO HEARTS are meant for each other, NO DISTANCE is TOO FAR... NO TIME is TOO LONG... and NO OTHER LOVE can BREAK THEM APART...

That's awesome! We are pretty much on the same time line...the process seems to be straightforward and smooth sailing so far. Hope it stays this way until we get our approval!

3 more weeks until our interview on September 10th. I need to get around to printing our pics :jest:
