Just a curious question here. I've read that sometimes they don't require or ask you to go for an interview for a Green Card. Has anyone else ever heard of this? I've been seeing that almost everyone on here has an interview lined up.

Not that it really matters, but we're actually taking our long awaited honeymoon in September and I'm hoping the interview isn't scheduled during the time we're gone. That would suck!

There are some cases where an interview waiver is given and some don't have to do an interview. I personally haven't received either letter yet.

They send you an email stating your aplication is ready for interview scheduling which means they have to check eith your local uscis office fir a date and they will let you know. It usually takes a few days after you get that email do i'm waiting to get the date. It also depends on where you live i think, some places take longer than others. Here in vermont is pretty fast. Good luck :)

You really need to call them now!

This happened to me! I called and it turned out they scheduled mine already but I never received the letter! I received the letter through fax today and finished my walk-in biometrics.

I'm so positive that your case is just like mine! call customer services the number on your receipt first thing in the morning, they open at 8am. They probably will do a service request. And one day later the center will email you and tell you what is going on with you case and at this point call them again if they already scheduled your appointment and ask to speak to an officer, they will fax you your letter.

Make sure you have a fax number on hand, like ups of fedex and make sure the number is correct!
