Just a curious question here. I've read that sometimes they don't require or ask you to go for an interview for a Green Card. Has anyone else ever heard of this? I've been seeing that almost everyone on here has an interview lined up.

Not that it really matters, but we're actually taking our long awaited honeymoon in September and I'm hoping the interview isn't scheduled during the time we're gone. That would suck!

There are some cases where an interview waiver is given and some don't have to do an interview. I personally haven't received either letter yet.

I am joining here. My case has been transferred to Nebraska too. My are most people so scare of it, why lots of shrugs? Is it really that slow?

Hey everyone, the online system is not working. I got interview letter and I did not receive any notification and I did sign up. last time it was updated was July 11. My i485 is still in acceptance while the i765, i131 is in initial review.

Thanks for sharing. Been sitting here, feeling frustrated. Went and did the biometrics on Aug 1 and it's been quiet ever since. And the last update was on July 11 also.

also joined the aos-circus end of july, noa1 was delivered promptly but nothing since then, not even a biometrics letters. we might move out of the country due to a job, so I am anxiously awaiting AP at least.... how are you guys hanging in there?

Im there too and my package was received on July 11th and my case is already in interview scheduling! Im waiting now for the date and time of the interview. It's been pretty fast for me :s

I am wishing to all you guys, who have not received biometrics invitation yet, to get it ASAP! I know what it is when you check mail every day and still nothing ! Let's all cheer up!

They send you an email stating your aplication is ready for interview scheduling which means they have to check eith your local uscis office fir a date and they will let you know. It usually takes a few days after you get that email do i'm waiting to get the date. It also depends on where you live i think, some places take longer than others. Here in vermont is pretty fast. Good luck

My biometrics appointment letter came in the sane day as my 1st noa's. I really how the systen is but i think it's going pretty fast for all july filers

Yeah i think it depends on whereyou live. Some uscis offices are super busy and that's why it takes longer to get a date. Iive in Vermontso i'm hoping to get one soon. Good luck

You really need to call them now!

This happened to me! I called and it turned out they scheduled mine already but I never received the letter! I received the letter through fax today and finished my walk-in biometrics.

I'm so positive that your case is just like mine! call customer services the number on your receipt first thing in the morning, they open at 8am. They probably will do a service request. And one day later the center will email you and tell you what is going on with you case and at this point call them again if they already scheduled your appointment and ask to speak to an officer, they will fax you your letter.

Make sure you have a fax number on hand, like ups of fedex and make sure the number is correct!

I actually ironically got mine in the mail after I used the faxed to do the walk in biometrics, lol
