I did mine when i was supposed to do it (july 31st) and still haven't heard from them :(

I agree. I received my biometric appointment letter on July 29th scheduled for August 14th. I did a walk in immediately the day after which is the 30th. I received notification that I was scheduled for an interview (September 10) prior to my original August 14th biometric appointment. So yes, in my case, it definitely sped up the process.

Let us know how it goes.

I am preparing for the interview myself. Does anyone know if I have to bring our joint sponsor's original proof of Citizenship such as Passport or Naturalization certificate? We sent in just copies to our original AOS packet.

I'm just not quite sure if I need to bring original ones with me to the interview as well as for the joint sponsor's documents. Should I borrow my aunt's passport and naturalization certificate to bring to the interview?

Please advise from anyone who might know.

One more July filer already got an interview so I'm guessing interview notices for other July filers aka you, will start coming in. Hang in there! :)

Relax dude, mine has been in acceptance since June 2nd. This is normal, nothing to worry about.

It won't be a surprise to anybody if It stays in acceptance forever until you get your GC.

I have only received my NOA (797) notice for my I-485 application and it shows status as "Acceptance" on USCIS web page.

Other than that there has been no update on I-485 since June 2.
