What is the process/procedure to notify USCIS/NVC to cancel pending CR-1 process due to failure of marriage?

CR-1 for my wife
USCIS Stage
11/19/2013: I-130 Sent
11/20/2013: I-130 Received
11/20/2013: I-130 NOA1
11/22/2013: I-130 NOA1 Hard copy
04/22/2014: I-130 Expedite Request
04/23/2014: I-130 Expedite Response: Denied
05/09/2014: I-130 Status Update "your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I130" at 9:15am
05/09/2014: I-130 NOA2 (approved) at 3pm
05/14/2014: Case sent to NVC
NVC Stage
06/17/14: Case number and IIN assigned
06/17/14: AOS fee invoiced
06/17/14: Notice from NVC containing case number and IIN
06/17/14: DS-261 available and completed
06/18/14: AOS fee paid
06/19/14: AOS fee withdrawn from my bank account
06/20/14: AOS fee shows paid
06/20/14: AOS package sent to NVC
06/23/14: AOS package arrived at NVC
07/01/14: Sent expedite request to NVCExpedite@state.gov
07/17/14: Expedite request approved, file "immediately forwarded"
07/24/14: Received Expedite Request approval letter in mail

I hope you are not asking for yourself. Too long of a journey, to give up now. can't do that. I hope this is just emotions and you will work it out. which is all relationship is about. working it out;)

5/22/2014 - NOA1 Received via Email

5/29/2014 - Received NOA1 Hard Copy

VJ Timeline estimated NOA2 approval date between June 16, 2014 and June 25, 2014

6/20/2014 - Txt and E-mail received that I-129f has been approved. BOOM :energy:
6/25/2014 - NOA2 Hard Copy

7/2/2014 - Received NVC Case Number via Phone(Called 3 days in a row. Between 6:30 and 7:30am CST. Got through with first attempt. On hold for 30 minutes all three times.)

7/8/2014 - US Embassy of Georgia has received the package

8/7/2014 - Medical Exam

8/20/2014 - Interview date - DENIED. :blink:

9/29/2014 - Mirracle :energy:

10/14/2014 - Visa Recevied.(Extra cost for shipping passport and package is approx $200 :secret:)

11/13/2014 - US Entry!!!! :girlwerewolf2xn:

Without knowing what is going on, why do you presume that the petitioner is making the wrong decision and that it's "too long of a journey, to give up now?"

I don't think anyone is more sad than myself and I appreciate the feedback.

This is a just in case question as I'm struggling to work things out with the better half, I am obviously devastated and have in my previous posts in another thread (which caused all kinds of uproar) predicted that prolonged separation would cause my marriage unforeseen issues.

This forum has been invaluable and I hope the journey's end is the start of a happy life, and not the misery that I'm in right now.

As said earlier, just send them a letter with the USCIS and NVC case #'s and let them know you want to cancel it. You can also call them up and ask to have your case # cancelled I believe. Think long and hard about doing this because if you do so and then change your mind then you'll have to start all over again at the USCIS and it'll be tough to explain at the interview. IMO I would not do it (and if you look at my history I did contemplate this sad choice at one point) until the ink was dry on the divorce documents.

I-130 2nd i-797(NOA-2): 30 May 2014, Vermont (Total Dis-)Service Center (199 days in USCIS hell)

NVC Case # Assigned: 27 June 2014 (15 days to case number assigned)

Hi alot of us here know what your going thru myself included this waiting to be with our loved ones causes alot of unnecessary stress on both of us that we're at our breaking points with each other fighting over little things just hang in there nobody's said this was going to be easy so good luck

I'm a guy, a middle aged man who has two kids and a mortgage, and I just broke down in tears reading your comment because I read about how happy some people here are or how strong their bond/faith is with their other half who are outside of this country going through this effing process designed to keep good people out, and it's killing my marriage, which I instinctively knew would happen.

We fight over little things, we often forget how much we love each other, and not being able to see her to hold her and tell her I'm sorry for losing my temper, and her not being able to see me, it sucks. Sending hundreds of dollars of flowers, email, and SMS simply isn't cutting it.

just hang in there your so close to throw it all away you have to dig down deep and tell yourself that everything will be alright in a little more time just have a little more faith
