This is not about the church. This is about the rights of a person who operates a business not being forced to pay for something that violates his basic core belief system .

How can the left scream no one has the right to a women choices but her, but demand someone else pay for those choices. The cost of morning after pills are about 46 bucks. No one is going to be denied access to this if the employer is not forced to cover it .

I am pro choice, but that is not the issue here.

So you're worried about a healthcare program that includes paying about $46 bucks for a pill to avoid unwanted pregnancies, but the taxpayers paying for that unwanted baby for at least the next 18 years is a-ok with you? The employer won't be paying the $46 out of their pocket every time someone wants to use the morning after pill. It's a comprehensive insurance healthcare plan that covers many things and most employees also pay a portion of their healthcare when it's provided by their employer. $46 dollar for a pill compared to a lifetime of welfare? Sometimes it's hard to see the forest through the trees, eh?

Nope I am all in favor of it. If I owned a company birth control and morning after pills would probably be in a dispenser on the wall. I would pay as good a wages as I could afford, and have life friendly working polices, I would be like a liberal fruit farm to work for .

However if others choose not to operate like me, that is their business, not the Govts. This is about Govt intrusion to me, not morning after pills

Why are most issues left are right. Because they are. Pro abortion, etc is usually a left issue, Anti-abortion etc is usually a right issue , is it not ?

I have never understood the logic of your Employer being involved in your health arrangements.

Any more than they would be involved in your car or house insurance.

Once you start one illogicality others follow.

Insurance is not an appropriate tool to cater for small costs. You do not insure your vehicle oil changes or your weekly grocery shopping.

There was another thread I was reading where the ACA premiums for a couple were nearly $24,000 a year, this is one reason why.

There are contradictions to peoples beliefs everywhere you look, it's part of life. We need to focus on what serves the greater good of our country, not what benefits a select few. I never had any children but have been forced to pay for the educational system through my property taxes, it's part of life in this country. I do it without complaining because it benefits the greater good of our country for everyone to be educated, whether they're my children or not.

I agree that gov't should be as small as possible, but in order to accomplish that, some individual rights will have to take a back seat.

The Libertarian philosophy is pretty good on paper, but it doesn't apply to the real world. People by nature are not willing to live and let live. Someone is always offended by something.

I sent my stepson to a christian school because the liberal schools are full of #######... drinking drugs and everyone walking around like they are in a rock video . Because of this expense he did not have an I pad or 200 Dollar sneakers. We sacrificed and he sacrificed. For the greater good. Perhaps if the left would endorse 2 parents house holds and sacrifice they could afford their own 10 or 20 /month or even free. They might have to forgo that $50 friday night dinner to pay for the pill but liberals sure don't want to sacrifice their pleasures do they.
