B. it was not on MSNBC, Al-Jazerra, Salon,CNN or other left wing approved sources so it is obvious right wing bias ,no matter how many facts they quote

In other words if I don't like your opinions you must be a Buffon

However I demand you not use slang terms to ridicule our Preznit, because we should all be able to disagree with civility

Liberals gosh darn it, they are so cute

Rush Limbaugh isn't a reliable news source. You do know that, right?

1 and 2. Not the same issue at all.

3. Then CVS would not sell certain drugs and if they could survive economically on a select population of backward thinking patrons then so be it.

4. Totally agree, Tax exempt for church is just as much BS as forcing someone to pay for someone else sexual reproduction health choices.

I disagree. 1. and 2. are similar in most, if not all, respects except the sexual angle. I am voluntarily engaging in a legal behavior, and then expecting others (medical insurance) to pay to prevent or ameliorate the unwanted results of such behavior.

Or perhaps this analogy: What if I smoke 2 packs of cigarettes a day, develop lung cancer, then use my medical insurance to treat my lung cancer? Same thing, no sex aspect.

I doubt it. There are some people that seem to be so god darn hung up on hating anyone who holds a position that isn't their own that any irrational argument serves.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

Disease isn't that simple. If every person who smoked 2 packs a day developed lung cancer and no one else did, you might have a case. As it is, one can only suggest that smoking has a part in the development of lung cancer in patients who develop lung cancer and have previously smoked but it can't be the only factor factor and may not have been the primary factor, so no, you can't really relate one to the other.

But you CAN make a direct causal relationship between overeating and overdrinking (and lack of exercise) and the resultant health problems caused by being overweight. Which one would expect them to ask others to mitigate those unwanted results. Such behavior may not be the ONLY way to become overweight, but it is a sure fire way to need health care in the future.

Well, up to a point. There is more to physical health than calories in and calories burned. The point at which being overweight impacts health will vary greatly from individual to individual. Mental health plays a role in the picture as well. This idea that every individual must pay precisely and exactly what they personally 'owe' is a very bizarre way to look at humans living in integrated social structures and, it really can't be done that accurately so I am not sure why people try so hard to do it.
