G325a Residence Question

I have a quick question about the residence info.

I was living in the states from 2007 until 2011 on a F1 visa. Do I put that on the form even though my official residency was still in Austria? (since F1 is a non immigrant visa and I wasn't a resident of the united states) And if I do should I state it somewhere that I was there on a F1 visa?

Also I went traveling for about a year after I left the states and really wasn't resident anywhere. I still got mail sent to my moms house though which was my official residence up until then. Do I just put my moms address and then maybe put it on an extra sheet and explain that I was traveling?

Stick to what says on the form: Applicant's residence last five years. List present address first.

You resided, legally I might add, in the US for a period of time. Create your time line and that's it. Here is a sample form http://www.visajourney.com/examples/INS-Form-G-325A.pdf

In your case, say that you also lived by yourself after living with your parents, it would look something like this:

878 Parent's St , VIENNA, from 8/2011 to present

787 University DR, NY, NY from 8/2007 until 7/2011

585 My own apartment, Vienna from 1/2001 until 7/2007

878 Parent's St , VIENNA, from YEAR BORN until 12/2000

Makes sense?
