I would bet the vast majority of us think, we should stop the flow before we tackle the issue of those already here. I think you cut out all employment opportunities most will go home. The maybe LPR status for those that have been raised here.

Yeah they are doing everything in the wrong order.. The E-verify portion is the last item to be addressed for the bills timeline.. I have become cynical: I think making all the illegals legal and adding all the new visas will happen, but they will never get around to the restrictions portion.. Though they will spend that 46.3 billion of course :)

Also the best-case scenario for the 46 billion border is that 10% will still get through..

I don't believe it.. Prove it to me and I still won't believe it. -Ford Prefect

I think Bhoner is just as guilty as Obama. If he really cared, he would say. Mr. Preznit :) I will give you comprehensive immigration reform, but first. You will sign a bill that imposes tough penalties to anyone that hires an illegal from this date forward and denying any kind of benefits or public services to any illegal that applies after this date .

Once that has been in effect 1 year we will sit down and figure out what to do with ones already here, in a humane fashion, that will never lead to any of them voting or being citizens

I have to think most of the country would support something roughly like this .

But if they get here and there is zero chance of them supporting themselves, getting Govt benefit or their kids enrolling in school. They will not come .

You do know that no political party can provide solutions to modern day problems that embody a system of simplistic political ideology? That has occurred to you?

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .
