Thank you so much for the clarification!! I really appreciate all your help and insight.. Where can I get the DS-260 to look at? And yes, I will make sure to check all docs 10x before lawyer sends them to NVC and hope all goes well. (We are human).

Google "DS-260 Examplar" and it should be the first hit.

Our lawyer just submitted our AOS and IV docs and is finishing the completion of the DS260 today! :)

Does anyone have rough insight on processing times? I am seeing 4 to 6 weeks? Is that about right? Then about another 4 to 6 weeks after that for the scheduled interview (Bogota)?

I have tried to read and deduct as much as feasible, but it is so hard to gauge, We are getting excited! :)

I sent my docs on June 26th. Called NVC on July 2nd. They said it was received, and it will take 30 days. I am counting business days, so that puts me on August 15th to receive at least a notification that everything has been reviewed. I will keep you posted since we are going to the same place, and we are just days apart.

NOA1: Sep 15, 2013 (Mail)

What a relief! Just called NVC and my case is complete! I made it through without checklist.

I was so worried about getting checklist with the much slower NVC. I saw two nightmares in the past week about checklists.

Yesterday was sucky day, my 2nd request of expedite got denied and I thought there was genuine reasons but today is better :)

Will the status under supporting documents on ceac.gov... change to a "receive"/"review" at any time? Or will just stay N/A the whole time?

Nope, that is the only number, and it is almost always busy. You just have to re-dial until you get through. Best time to call is right when they open (7am EST). Take a look at Saylin's spreadsheet on the first post of this thread to track when you might receive a case #. Good luck!

Hang in there! It tests your patience, but it's normal right now. I received my NOA on May 20th and just today was finally able to access the CEAC site. However, do keep trying to call to get your case and invoice number, and then try to log in a couple times a day. It should be soon for you. Good luck!

"testing my patience" is an understatement. but ur right its just hard after being a USCIS 4 long , I just want to get through NVC as fast as I can

Waiting processing is very difficult in NVC..

For me I send both packages together also .If you send out in one parcel then they will tell you that we just got one package .If you send out in two different packages then there will be two dates for scanned packages.They will not know that what that package includes until they review it.

Just finished talking to NVC now forgot her name but she was a very nice lady.. She said my case was complete since yesterday. But the CEAC website AOS fee just changed to N/A today.. And she said I may not get an INterview schedule until september.. That's fine, at least After almost 4months of waiting at NVC finally
