I'm really quite shocked NVC is moving so slowly. They have had my file for a month to the day and I can't pay my AOS fee yet.

I didn't expect this to happen but it is what it is ...right...

Its now called DS-260 and the beneficiary must bring a copy of the comfirmation page to the interview. Read it here: http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/immigrate/immigrant-process/documents/submit.html

The ds230 is now called the ds260.

OMG I cant beleive I missed that ;-) read the wiki 100 times but must have missed it.

30 business days to remove a mistake!? That's 1 month and half or 45 days! :wow:

If it takes 45 days, it may be faster to respond to the checklist by sending NVC the documents they request. :wacko:

What they wanted cannot be produced, and just to spend ~$80 for a statement that they already have, would make us wait longer anyways with sending it off + waiting for them to "receive" it and "30 business days" from then.

They said it could be up to 30 business days, looks more like they're reviewing things at ~24 business days at the moment.

I have no words to express my frustration really! This is unacceptable. I submitted mine 10 June. So when will be available August??!!!! It's terrible really. After waiting so long with freaking Uscis.

You're probably fortunate if the beneficiary is female from Pakistan as well. The AP wait times for males from Pakistan are generally over a year.

Really worried, just checked the tracking on our IV/AOS packet. The USPS attempted delivery yesterday, but with it being the 4th, the NVC was shut. So now will they try to deliver again today or tomorrow, or will it be sent back to me? This is getting ridiculous. :/

When you send it USPS the form you fill out has a little box you can check for NO Saturday delivery. It's best to check it since they

wont receive it on Saturday anyway. They'll redeliver don't worry. :)
