I just got off the phone with them but did not get the rep name, she was really rude. Anyway told me to wait until the last package i sent with revision to be reviewed and she cannot tell me anything about the IV package.

She mentioned marriage certificate but i have include my marriage certificate in the IV docs.

Thanks jsumner

Although actually, thinking about it, it is still less unfair than what USCIS was doing with the random transferring of I-130's... I see people on this forum that already have case complete with NVC even though their initial filing was more than two months after mine, all because they were sent to the CSC while our case went to TSC... and I actually live in California... Oh well, in my husband's country they say "el tiempo de dios es perfecto" which roughly translated means everything happens when it's supposed to... hard to believe but also hard to disprove.

Same here but I was dumped at the Nebraska hell hole. And it's "God's time is perfect" :D

Oh no..... the value of my joint sponsors total investments from the documents provided total $106,493.06 but they typed $106,493.05 on the form. If I leave it one cent UNDER is NVC really going to checklist us?! Do I need them to send the form AGAIN!? Should I just change the 5 into a 6 with a pen!?

I know your feeling. My husband lives in California as well, but it took 7months for NOA2. People who got NOA2 very quieckly are so lucky, but it makes NVC busy I think. We are so unlucky.. Life is not fair sometimes. That's true:(

It took 10.5 months for us to get approved becasue we were stuck with those DACA petetions. And people kept saying Nvc is nothin like Uscis and I was looking forward to it. And now when we come here it's becoming the same hell hole. So please stop calling urself unlucky and complaining. There are much worst cases around here. If anybody is unlucky I think it's us. We faced delays at both places. '7' month approvals I think were the LUCKIEST with us June filers.

Case filed- 3rd June 2013

NOA1- 6-6-2013

Cheese and crackers, gang! I go offline for, like, 2 days and it takes me 4 to catch up with all of you! Well, we've moved out of the miserable apartment (which started out as a quaint old house and has become a nightmare that rains inside and makes us sick) and are temporarily homeless before hitting the road for our "honeymoon" cross country (twice) awesome road trip!

NVC has everything in their inboxes (we're doing EP) and when I called them today (and got through on the very first dial - still had to wait on hold forever, but still!) I found out that they have officially received "something" on the 25th of June and "something else" on July 2nd. I asked the girl on the phone (forget her name) about whether that might be 2 of the 3 emails I sent for the AOS package (it took 3 to keep them under the size limit) or whether it could be the whole AOS package and the IV package. She said "good question" but she didn't know.

But in any case, something was received and we're on our way. Hoping for no checklists now, but at least, thanks to all of you, I know that even if we get a checklist, the EP procedure seems to be fairly quick in dealing with those.

I've given up hope of getting an interview while we're in Eastern Canada anyway (would've needed a mid-August interview for that and that's SO not happening) but at least I'm hoping to have a case complete to celebrate while we're on our trip.

Congratulations to all the case completes this last week, and I hope to be more available to help and cheer now that I'm finally out of packing/moving/cleaning hell!

hi guys sorry for the late update on my case ..i am not really an active guy on vj.Anyways so i submitted my AOS package last week so i am guessing it's gonna take a week till its scanned into the system.Yesterday i called NVC to ask them about IV,why it hasn't been invoiced. They told me you will be invoiced on 27th july.

Is this normal or i am the only one who is getting this await time?

Please can you update your timeline so it can help others.

I'm sorry to say they could. People do get checklists for cents not matching their tax transcripts, so I assume they scrutinize every field in the same way. I wouldn't change it by pen, as that would look suspicious. Personally I wouldn't risk a 30+ day delay if it's something I could fix in less time myself. I'm so sorry. I've been there! My joint sponsor sent me their form three times before it was correct, and I'm still praying I don't get a checklist.

P.S. As a friendly nudge, could you fill out your signature? It would be helpful to all of us in this thread.

I've given up hope on even getting an October interview at this point. I sent the packet with the assets off by one cent as it was. For the employer section after the comma I just wrote in the city and stat of the store location since it is at least on the supporting documents. If I get a checklist then screw it. I've already heard so many stories about checklists for certified copies of marriage certificates and even though I have a certified copy ready to send and lost the original and that's all I can give them, I'm sure they will just checklist me for IV packet anyway. I just feel like at this point no matter how hard I try or how much research I do, I'm screwed anyway. Here's hoping my wife can handle her interview without me and that it doesn't take too much longer after I'm forced to leave Japan.

jsumner, have you called lately about your checklist being removed? I can't believe they're stringing you guys along like that.... :(

Talked to two supervisors about it! The first one said she sent it back to be removed, didn't know how long it would take, the second one said it could take up to 30 business days.

*Sigh* :(. I've been trying to stay away and stay distracted with my wife. We're both fed up with it.

They really are backlogged if removing a stupid mistake on their end is taking this long.. Maybe the 25th of July, or 28th of July we'll hear something?

Submitted ds-260 last night, and per USPS tracking the IV docs were delivered today... now it's just time to wait... it's a relief to have all that done.

In response to some other comments here, I don't think NVC is lazy... it sounds like they are being overwhelmed by the results of poor decision -making at USCUS... but I do appreciate that at least they work steadily and are willing to give you a time frame even it it is long-- when our case was at USCIS no one had any idea when they might start working on I-130's... this is actually a lot better for many, I think.

At least NVC comes right out and say their backlogged, unlike USCIS :).

I hope they don't checklist you for that, hopefully they're not looking much into it, and don't notice it :).

Hi everyone , so thought I'd check the ceac website and now my aos application and fee say n/a instead of paid and complete. Anytime I call recently I'm advised that the aos has been Accepted /approved only waiting on review of civil documents. Should I be concerned that fee and aos package show n/a now?

Sounds like you may have Case Complete, when was you last document scanned in? You need to call NVC :)

I am beneficiary, because of our visa processing is very near to be completed i sold car, closed credit car and overdraft and cancelled some certain check accounts. I am wondering if my wife can use these stuffs as proof of domicile. Like we started getting ready to move. ? (I think i mentioned above are not much appropriate what is demanded for domicile just i wanted someone to confirm) Thanks
